An unusually large signed monochrome photograph of King George V, Queen Mary and the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth (Albert E. Porter) with his Consort, taken c.1921 during the King's visit to Portsmouth. The image was captured by renowned Portsmouth photographer Stephen Cribb. The photo has been autographed in black ink by George V, Queen Mary and the photographer. Beautifully matted and framed to an approximate size of 40 x 30"; the visible section of the photo measuring 31 x 23". This is believed to be one of two copies of this photo, the other belonging to Portsmouth City Council. Very rare in this size and the largest King George V signed photo that we've encountered.
