A large set of Beatles autographs; signed in various inks, "John Lennon," "George Harrison," "Paul McCartney," and "To Aida Alamuddin, Best wishes, Jimmie Nicol" on a cream coloured piece of paper measuring 8.25 x 7.75 inches. In good condition, with a central vertical fold and two horizontal fold lines, both running through John Lennon's first name. Scattered creasing throughout. There's a light moisture stain across the top left corner, which runs over part of Nicol's inscription. Two faint tape stains from the back are partially visible across the top of the page. The autographs were acquired at Beirut International Airport on June 7th 1964, where the band were changing flights on route to Hong Kong as part of their World Tour. Jimmie Nicol stood in for Ringo Starr from June 3-15 while the latter was recovering from tonsillitis and pharyngitis. A scarce set of autographs, given that Nicol was with the Beatles for less than two weeks.
