The letter reads in full: Dear Mr Jellicoe, The Queen and I are so pleased with the design of the terrace and the [?] garden. It has made all the difference to the house, and we feel that it is just perfect. We are so glad to have the picture, & we thank you so very much for having given it to us. If there is anything you would like to ask us about later please let me know. Yours very sincerely, George R.I.” In fine condition, with central fold from original mailing.
