An important TLS sent by HRH Prince Charles to Princess Margarita of Baden on September 9th 1997, just nine days after the tragic death of Diana in Paris. "Dear Margarita" written in the Prince's hand. And signed "with much love from Charles" at the conclusion. The letter was sent from Highgrove House on a single page of the Prince's crest embossed paper measuring 19 x 23.5 cm. In excellent condition with the original mailing folds. Mounted (easily removable) by the previous owner, the world renowned Royal ephemera expert J.S. Hanson, who has added notes in neat handwriting to the backing paper.
