A hardback edition of 'Dear Brutus' by J. M. Barrie, used by Diana while attending West Heath Girls' School in Sevenoaks, Kent. Later printing. London: University of London Press, 1962. Annotated on the first free end page in blue ink by Diana, incorporating her full name, "Diana Spencer." Several pages bear pencil notations in Diana's hand, generally the definitions of words. These include: "sarcastic" on page 23; "long drawn out" on page 25; "fate" on page 39; "connubial" on page 48; and "fabulous" on page 89. In fine condition, with soiling to the covers, sunning to the spine, and residue from an old removed bookplate on the inside of the front cover. A very rare personal book used by Diana in her youth. Hardcover, 5" x 7.5", 127 pages. Includes a letter of authenticity from Garry King of Autografica.
