1953 Mickey Mouse's 25th Anniversary print signed by Walt Disney
We're proud to offer this exceptional piece featuring two pillars of Disney, animator and entrepreneur Walt Disney & his most famous creation, Mickey Mouse. In 1953 John Hench created a painting of Mickey to honor his 25th anniversary, from which a limited number of prints were made. These prints were never available commercially, instead they were used as promotional items and offered as gifts to important persons. It's scarce to find one signed by Walt Disney, but exceedingly rare to find one such as this: autographed yet not personalized to a certain individual. Walt has signed beautifully to the lower right mat in black crayon. The piece is presented in a black and gold colored wooden frame, measuring 14.5 x 16.5 inches in total. The visible opening inside the frame is 13.5 x 11.75". In fine condition. The print and mat are bright and free from stains or tears. The frame is in good condition with several unobtrusive scratches and signs of wear. The original Walt Disney productions label has been affixed to the back of the frame. A truly superb Disney collectible!
