A bound musical score from Giacomo Puccini's 1918 opera, Il trittico: Il tabarro, Suor Angelica, and Gianni Schicchi. Signed and inscribed to the title page in black ink. Dated 1919, Florence. Il trittico is composed of three one-act operas, each concerning the concealment of a death: a horrific episode (Il tabarro) in the style of the Parisian Grand Guignol, a sentimental tragedy (Suor Angelica), and a comedy (Gianni Schicchi).
Fair condition. The hardback covers have some splitting at the top and bottom of the spine, which has caused a tear to the top of the first page (see images). Foxing in places. The signed title page has split along the spine by 3.5 inches. Light water staining to several pages.
