The Jungle Book, by Rudyard Kipling, was published in 1894. Walt Disney's classic animation musical was first released in 1967. It had an acclaimed soundtrack, featuring five songs by the Sherman Brothers and one celebrated song, 'The Bare Necessities' by Gilkyson. It proved so popular that Disney re-made it twice, first in 1994 and also in 2016. This charming artwork was only used for the 1975 re-release of the original Disney version. It's the most attractive of the Jungle Book posters and sought after by Disney & movie poster collectors alike.
The poster presents in EX original condition. There are three light vertical folds and several unobtrusive edge and corner creases. A small tear to the top edge has been professionally repaired using Japanese tissue paper. An area of light soiling to the back (doesn't infringe on the front side).
