Typed Letter Signed "Roy O. Disney" as President of Walt Disney Productions. One page on WDP letterhead, Burbank, California, June 11, 1958. The letter relates to payment of commissions owed by Sascha Film GMBH of Vienna, who held Fantasia's rights of distribution within Austria. Disney directs the the company to pay the 10% due to Buena Vista.
Roy Oliver Disney was older brother of Walt and co-founder of Walt Disney Company. When Walt died in 1966, he postponed his retirement to oversee the construction of Disney World; was the company's first CEO and later President of Walt Disney Productions.
