Princess Margaret, Autograph Letter Signed to the couturier, Victor Stiebel. On Clarence House headed paper, November 22nd (no year). One page, both sides. In full: "Dear Mr Stiebel, I wanted to give you a photograph of myself - you have, for so many years now, made me such lovely clothes and especially the latest ones for East Africa, which were perfect. So now on my return I send you this with many thanks for all your help. Yours very sincerely, Margaret". Housed in an elegant double sided frame alongside a photo of the Princess. The clothes for East Africa are almost certainly a reference to the Royal Tour of the British Colonies in East Africa that Margaret undertook in 1956; Stiebel later designed her going-away outfit upon her marriage to Lord Snowdon in 1960.
