Scarce color 17.5 x 24 poster for an exhibition entitled "Athletes by Andy Warhol," held at the Virginia Museum on January 23, 1978, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, "To Phylis, with love, Andy Warhol." The poster features a quadrant of stylized multicolored portraits of Pele, Tom Seaver, Muhammad Ali, and Bill Shoemaker. Rolled and in fine condition, with some wear to edges that could be easily matted out.
