1970's Bjorn Borg match worn tennis shirt at Wimbledon (letter of provenance)
An original Fila shirt used by Bjorn Borg at Wimbledon during the late 1970's. Borg personally gave the shirt to a aircraft handler at London's Heathrow airport after his travelling companion complained about the smell emanating from his bag! A letter of provenance from the handler is included and explains the story of how Borg gave it to him. It's an original 'Borg White Line' Fila shirt, with his 'BJ' logo stitched on the front. Made in Italy; US size 40, which Borg was known to wear. The last image shows Borg wearing an almost identical shirt during one of his matches at Wimbledon. In VG condition, with minor toning.
