The book meets all the criteria for a true first impression: Wendy Cooling review on the front cover, the publisher listed as Bloomsbury at the bottom of the title page, the print line on the copyright page reads “10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1”, the seventh line of text on the copyright page without a space between “Taylor” and “1997”, and on page 53 the item “1 wand” appears twice (in the list of school supplies that Harry receives from Hogwarts).
We are not professional book graders, but in our opinion this is a very good example of an extremely desirable first edition. The pages show some light toning and there's a small stain along the bottom of pages 75-160. These first impressions of Rowling's seminal work continue to climb in price - don't miss the opportunity to add this key book to your collection.
