A Royal Christmas card from 1951, sent by Princess Elizabeth and The Duke of Edinburgh. Signed underneath the printed seasonal wishes, "Elizabeth" and "Philip" in black ink. Just a couple of months after this card was sent, George VI passed away, triggering Elizabeth's accession to the throne at the age of just twenty five. The card was been matted and framed to a size of 16.5 x 11 inches; it's unexamined outside of the frame but appears in excellent condition. The frame itself has wear consistent with its age.
