The book meets all the criteria for a true first impression: Wendy Cooling review on the front cover, the publisher listed as Bloomsbury at the bottom of the title page, the print line on the copyright page reads “10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1”, the seventh line of text on the copyright page without a space between “Taylor” and “1997”, and on page 53 the item “1 wand” appears twice (in the list of school supplies that Harry receives from Hogwarts).
We are not professional book graders, but in our opinion this is in good collectible condition. The book has laminated boards, with handling creases on the covers. A stain to the lower corner runs through all the pages, with a much lighter one affecting the top edge of several pages.
