Queen Victoria, an Autograph Letter (unsigned) on Royal monogram letterhead from Windsor Castle, dated April 14th 1854. Handwritten by the Queen in black ink across one and half pages. In the letter, Her Majesty acknowledges receipt of two letters advising her of the deaths of a number of high ranking soldiers. Additional notations to the rear page in an unknown hand. Very good condition, with two small tape remnants to the last page.
