Vintage matte-finish 4 x 5.5 inch photo of King George V in formal military dress by W & D Downey, and affixed to its original 7.75 x 11 mount, signed in fountain pen on the mount, “George R. I. 1921.” The mount featuring an embossed Coat of arms of the United Kingdom above the photo. In very good condition, with a few scattered spots of light foxing to mount. George V reigned from 1910 until his death in 1936.
